It is Wolf Ridge’s understanding that MN tax laws allow deductions to be taken by families whose children participate in educational enrichment programs outside of school.  As an accredited school, Wolf Ridge qualifies as one of these programs.  Only the cost of instruction qualifies for credit / deduction.  Room, board and transportation do not qualify.  Funds that have been raised by the student do not qualify for credit or deduction.  A dollar for dollar credit can be given for families with a low income as designated by the state.  For families with incomes above the designated level, they may take an itemized deduction.
