Growing Up Outdoors

Voyageurs

Entering Grades 6-7
Community is an important aspect for Voyageurs. Campers will spend the week focusing on the cultural history of northern Minnesota while developing teambuilding and leadership skills through hands-on games and activities. They practice these newly developed skills as they work together to canoe, learn the importance of forests in Minnesota, make management plans for wildlife, and go on an overnight camping trip to the Baptism River.
