Feeling Adventurous? Get way out there with a canoe trip to the Boundary Waters or kayak in the Apostle Islands. Build on your experiences and gain new camping skills on these extended wilderness trips. Our tripping program includes those described above, plus our Explorers “trip only” BWCAW canoe and Isle Royale hiking options.

The best of two worlds! One week of camp fun followed by seven days canoeing in the Boundary Waters. Make the most of everything summer camp has to offer- all camp activities, ropes course, campfires… then blast off for a rockin’ canoe trip with your new friends. Junior Naturalist 2-week In-Camp/6-day Apostle Islands Sea Kayak
entering grades 10-12
Lake Superior is the theme of this action packed two-week session. During the first week, campers will combine camp fun with kayak skills as they prepare for six days of paddling in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Explorer Wilderness Trips
Campers spend most of their time on trail during these Explorer trips.
- 5-Day BWCAW Canoe
Entering 7th-8th grades
This introductory trip focuses on backcountry skills and a connection to wild places. Discover the confidence that comes from paddling and portaging as you make new friends.

- 11 Day BWCAW Canoe
Entering 9th-10th grades
This trip provides campers the time to master skills and develop a lasting value for wild places. Campers participate in trip planning, and take on greater leadership roles while out on trail.

- 5 Day Isle Royale Backpack
Entering 8th-9th grades
Hike the trails on the biggest island on the biggest lake in the world. Campers will travel by ferry to Isle Royale, where they will likely encounter moose, travel through old growth forests, and share amazing views of Lake Superior with new friends. Ferry and National Park fees included in program cost.
