Summer Camp Programs

Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center has touched the lives of many children through our overnight camp, explorer wilderness trips, day camp, and academic program since 1971. Our successful history is due to a variety of programs, quality food and services, amazing location and facilities, qualified staff and vast outdoor opportunities.

Nestled on 2000 acres, on the North Shore of Minnesota overlooking Lake Superior, Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center provides the perfect summer camp atmosphere. Our programs, for children ages 6 to 18, range from day camp programs for campers 6 and 7 years old, to 2 or 4-week academic programs for high school students to earn elective science credits and wilderness canoe, kayak, and backpacking trips. There really is something for all ages.

Programs feature a myriad activity options such as; canoeing, adventure ropes, rock climbing, natural history classes, cultural history classes, and overnight adventures. Wolf Ridge has a breadth of offerings few can match.

With so many activities and programs to choose from and friendships to be made. We are committed to ensuring a positive and safe camping experience for each child who walks the paths of Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center.
