Summer Camp at Wolf Ridge
Enriching Kid's Lives:
Growing Up Outdoors

Day Camp

Entering grades 1-7
Wolf Ridge's Day Camp provides a safe, guided and enjoyable experience in a natural setting for campers who may not want to stay overnight. Campers will explore everything from woods to wetlands and participate in hands-on activities that will help them learn more about the natural world surrounding them. Activities, crafts and games are planned to provide recreational enjoyment while challenging young minds to nurture and support nature. Groups are divided by age, with a maximum of 12 campers, to ensure activities are age appropriate.

  • A great camp experience without the overnight commitment
  • Hot lunch & snacks provided
  • A different outdoor adventure every day and every year!

Hummingbirds (entering grade 1)

Get ready to discover the delightful mysteries of nature. Explore who lives where, what animals eat, and what’s hidden high and low in the forest. Join us as we learn about the woods, fields and streams with adventures, stories and games. Develop skills that can be used to explore the secrets of nature in your own backyard.

Rangers (entering grades 2-3)

Walk like a fox, hear like a deer and put on your owl eyes! Decipher the secrets of the animals as they teach you to move invisibly through the forest. You will track animals, discover the mysteries of animal languages and understand how they survive! Spend the week on a quest with your wild senses to help unlock the secrets of the animal kingdom!

Pioneers (entering grades 4-5)

Become modern-day explorers discovering the past through fun and adventure while making new and "old" friends along the way. We will be stepping back in time to experience life 200 years ago. Try your woodworking, candle making, sewing, outdoor cooking and paddling a voyageur canoe!

Trailblazers (entering grades 6-7)

Rise to the challenge and discover the leadership qualities within you. Focus on confidence building and leadership skills while traversing the adventure ropes course, playing team building games, planning and going on all-day adventures and assisting counselors in leading the final camp program.
