Get Up Close and Personal Traveling Live Animal ProgramsHow can you hold that porcupine and not be scared? How does an owl fly so quietly? How do raptors hunt? How do humans affect wild animals? In "Wings Above the Ridge", an award-winning program focusing on Minnesota raptors, or our "North American Porcupine" presentation, you will learn the answer to these questions and more. Our programs are interactive: Sit on an egg, flap your "wings," find out about pellets and even touch a live bird. You will find that these beautiful creatures have touched your heart and your mind. Our education animals are permanently disabled and cannot be returned to the wild. They play important roles as ambassadors for their species. Schedule one or several programs for your class, school, Scout or community organization by contacting Erin, or by calling Wolf Ridge at 218-353-7414. Programs can be modified to fit your needs.
