What is Exploritas?

Exploritas (formerly "Elderhostel") participants, mostly over the age of 50, come from all kinds of backgrounds and from all over the United States and Canada. All participants have one thing in common: a love of learning. Program participants grow and learn through new experiences and the active exploration of subjects and interests around the world.

Exploritas Intergenerational Programs are designed for grandparents and their grandchildren. What’s more rewarding than cultivating your love of lifelong learning? Teaching a younger adventurer to love it, too. Share your passion for educational travel with a grandchild and create memories that will last for a lifetime.
