Lodging

While our dormitory is not luxurious, you’ll find it clean and comfortable, with simple furnishings. Our East dorm features a spacious lobby and dorm rooms with a private bath.

The rooms

Each set of grandparents and grandchildren share a room. You will not be sharing with another family. Dorm rooms have a small table and locker style space for clothing. No dresser is provided; plan to live mostly out of your suitcase.

Linens, etc.

We provide bed linens and towels, but remember to bring your own toiletries. Some Elders may find our beds hard; consider bringing a foam pad. You will be asked to collect your linens from the linen room and make your own bed.

Maid service is not provided. Midweek, a towel and washcloth exchange will take place, as well as an optional light housekeeping of your bathroom.

Also in the dorms

The dorm lobby area has plenty of room for table games and relaxation. A group refrigerator is available for the storage of medications. Coin washers and dryers are located in the dorm; they cost $.50 per load and use liquid detergent (available in our store and office).

All buildings are smoke free; smoking is allowed outdoors in specified places only.
