"I brought my students to Wolf Ridge as a part of my 'Writing in Nature' course. We spent the first two weeks of the course on campus at St. Olaf, then moved north for two weeks to take advantage of the inspirational natural setting and great facilities."

Some college professors have chosen to use Wolf Ridge as a "field campus." At your disposal are 2000 acres of varied northwoods habitats, classroom spaces, our 2800-title Environmental Studies library, and proximity to a wealth of North Shore area study sites beyond Wolf Ridge. Lodging and meals are provided. You provide your own course content, with the potential to augment your study with Wolf Ridge activities taught by our staff.
