Hiking Trail Weekend

Fall on the North Shore is a spectacular time; the red and gold of maples and aspens, raptors on the wing. Where better to experience the heart pounding pleasure of autumn than on the Superior Hiking Trail?

Wolf Ridge and the Superior Hiking Trail Association are pleased to offer a weekend of hiking on the Superior Hiking Trail. Home to 18 miles of trails, wolf Ridge offers close proximity to the Superior Hiking Trail.

The weekend will feature a variety of hikes for all ages and abilities led by a Wolf Ridge naturalist. Additional programming includes Raptor Show, canoeing, and more.

Located on a ridge overlooking Lake Superior, Wolf Ridge occupies nearly 2,000 acres. bordered by the Baptism river, the campus features a meandering creek, two pristine lakes, two high peaks, and a mixed forest of maple, birch, and spruce. pine marten, eagles, wolves, moose, white-tailed deer, and other wildlife share the campus. Facilities include two dormitories, three classroom buildings, a dining hall, raptor aviary, library, two rock climbing walls, and two high ropes courses.

Cost:

  • $193 for adults
  • $177 for children ages 5 - 18.
  • Children ages 4 and under are free.
