Ideas for using the WeatherGuide with Spring and Fall Happenings

  • Write the daily temperature and sky cover (use cloud chart) on the calendar. Compare to the average listed for that day.
  • Use the daily weather information to create graphs, calculate local averages, etc.
  • Make predictions for local weekly weather based on past averages.
  • Study the wind rose and it's implications on weather patterns.
  • Look for weather trends based on the sun declination charts.
  • Record phenology observations on the calendar.
  • Look at the weekly phenology information and look for those events locally.
