Your students will be busy during their time here! A typical class schedule includes:

We offer 57 units of curricula focused on environmental and natural sciences, cultural history, personal growth, team-building, and outdoor recreation skills. They are tied together by the concepts in our Curriculum Framework.

Who teaches?

  • Wolf Ridge provides the lead instructor for all of the daytime classes.
  • Evening activities are instructed and managed by the teachers and parents that accompany each group. Lesson plans and materials are provided.
  • Evening naturalist programs, presented by Wolf Ridge staff, range from traditional slide programs to role playing and theatrical productions.

Minnesota Graduation Standards

Wolf Ridge has aligned the Center's entire curriculum to Minnesota Department of Education Academic Standards. As the primary student audience at Wolf Ridge is from 4th-12th grade, the matrices address these grade levels. Teachers may request that their students focus upon a specific benchmark while attending Wolf Ridge. The Wolf Ridge Curriculum Standards Matrix addresses benchmarks in:
