Making a Bequest in Your Will

A bequest is a gift left to a charity in your will. It can be a specific amount or percentage of your estate.

Examples Bequest Language

  1. Bequest of Cash "I bequeath the sum of $______ to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center of Finland, MN to be placed in its permanent endowment.

  2. Bequest of a Percent of the Estate I give and devise to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center, located in Finland, MN, all (or state a percentage) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, to be placed in its permanent endowment.

  3. Contingent Bequest If (insert name) is not living at the time of my demise, I give and devise to Wolf Ridge Environmental Learning Center located in Finland, MN, the sum of $ _______ (or all or a percentage of the residue of my estate) to be placed in its permanent endowment.
